Colin Soldati
ViolinBorn in Switzerland in 2003, Colin Soldati began playing the violin at age seven at the Bernese Jura Music School in Saint-Imier. He obtained his certificate with merit and distinctions there in 2021, along with a special prize from the Friends of the EMJB Association. He then continued his studies with Patrick Genet in Lausanne, before joining Félix Froschhammer's class at the Haute École de Musique – Valais-Wallis in September 2025.
As a soloist, he performs with several Swiss and international orchestras, covering a wide repertoire. Laureate of the Jura Festival Competition in 2019, he performed Vivaldi's Summer at the laureates' concert. A member of various orchestral ensembles, he joined the Swiss National Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Camerata du Jura, and collaborates with the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra.
Highly committed to chamber music, he has won several first prizes at the Swiss Youth Music Competition, notably with the Arès Quartet and the Éphémère Sextet. Invited to London and Stuttgart for international projects, he also participates in numerous masterclasses with renowned musicians. Today, he pursues his career between soloist, chamber music, and orchestra roles, driven by a profound artistic standard.
