French cellist born in 2001, Émile Deprecq is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne in Patrick Demenga's class. Trained at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Lyon, where he obtained his DEM, he also benefits from the teaching of many renowned cellists and participates in masterclasses, notably with Roland Pidoux or Xavier Gagnepain.

A committed chamber musician and orchestral player, he also performs as a soloist. He notably participated in the Nuits de Fourvière Festival in Lyon alongside artists from contemporary music styles, and has performed during international tours in Ghana and Turkey in repertoires ranging from jazz to film music.
