Guillaume Apvrille

Violin

Guillaume Apvrille began his musical studies in 2014 at the Antibes Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Art in Marie-Agnès Le Tellier's violin class. In 2023, he obtained the Gold Medal with jury congratulations there. While pursuing his studies in Antibes, he also joined the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Nice in 2021, in Pierre Bensaïd's class, and brilliantly earned his Diploma of Musical Studies.

Eager to develop his violin playing, he entered the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne in 2024 at the age of 17, in Virginie Robilliard's class. Through masterclasses, he benefits from the valuable advice of international soloists like Olivier Charlier and Solenne Païdassi, but also chamber musicians like Jean-Marc Phillips and Amaury Coeytaux, or Petteri Iivonen, concertmaster of the Paris Opera.

He has also performed in chamber music, as well as in orchestras, at the prestigious Pablo Casals festival under the direction of Pierre Bleuse, and was invited to Schwäbisch Gmünd as part of the twinning between Antibes and this German city. Guillaume plays an anonymous French violin from 1844.
