Ulysse Bonneau
CelloCellist and composer, Ulysse pursues his musical studies in the classes of Frantz Wiener, David Louwerse, Diana Ligeti, and François Salque. After obtaining a musicology degree from the Sorbonne and a Bachelor's in Cello at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne, he continues to perfect his skills in Switzerland in a Master of Pedagogy. He also stands out as a Laureate of the Concours Général in Music.
He organizes and takes part in numerous concerts as a soloist, with orchestras or chamber music ensembles, some of which took place at the Philharmonie de Paris, the Shanghai Concert Hall, the Sunset-Sunside, the Victoria Hall, the Cinémathèque Française, or on Arte, in widely differing repertoires ranging from classical to folk, film music, and traditional music…
He has also composed the music for more than a dozen short films as well as a web series since 2018. A lover of contemporary music, he recorded his first album in 2021 for the composer Daniel Osorio.
In parallel, Ulysse is also the cellist and arranger of the Parsifal Project, with which he recorded a first EP "Tableau I" released in 2022. He regularly performs in concerts with this group across Europe (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany…). Since 2024, Ulysse has been a cello teacher at the International Conservatory of the Vaud and Geneva cantons as well as at the Thonon-les-Bains Music School.
